Dr. Darel Butler is a native of Memphis, TN
Graduate of Fairley High School
President, Butler Neurology P.C., Memphis, TN
- Graduate of Harvard University with Honors.
- College de France; Paris, France; worked in lab of Drs. Francois Gros (discoverer of mRNA) and Monique Lazar
- Contributor to the 1997 Nobel Prize in Medicine and Physiology awarded to Dr. Stanley Prusiner.
- Founder and director of We CARE!, the Mid-South’s largest physician-organized, community-based group dedicated to Alzheimer’s Disease and other dementing illnesses
- “Special Recognition” by U. S. Congressman Harold Ford, Jr.
- Creator and executive producer of “Darel’s Hot Stuff” a No. 1 rated music entertainment show (formerly known as “The Show”; aired on Fox-13)
