Dr. Darel Butler is a native of Memphis, TN
Graduate of Fairley High School

  • College de France; Paris, France;  worked in lab of Drs. Francois Gros (discoverer of mRNA) and Monique Lazar
  • Contributor to the 1997 Nobel Prize in Medicine and Physiology awarded to Dr. Stanley Prusiner.
  • Founder and director of We CARE!, the Mid-South’s largest physician-organized, community-based group dedicated to Alzheimer’s Disease and other dementing illnesses
  • “Special Recognition” by U. S. Congressman Harold Ford, Jr.
  • Creator and executive producer of “Darel’s Hot Stuff” a No. 1 rated music entertainment show (formerly known as “The Show”; aired on Fox-13)
